How to Get Past River Lake on Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam

"Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" from Walt Disney Games puts you in the role of a guitar teacher and counselor at everybody's favorite rock rock and roll summer camp. As you progress through the game's levels, playing increasingly difficult pieces of music in front of your guitar students, you will visit various familiar locations from the Disney Channel original movie of the same name. One of these locations is River Lake, the game's first level. To get past River Lake, you will need to play "Can't Back Down," the level's song, with precision.

Instructions

  Listen to "Can't Back Down" several times before you attempt to play through the level. This will help to familiarize you with the song's rhythm and structure and give you a sense of its length.

  Launch the game and select the "Easy" difficulty mode. While "Hard" might prove a better option for you on the second or third time through the game, selecting "Easy" will help to ensure that you make it past River Lake and move forward with the game.

  Press the space bar to begin the level. Keep your thumb resting on the space bar throughout. This will make it harder for you to miss a note and bring down your score for the level.

  Press the space bar each time a note floats over the glowing blue guitar pick. Each time you match your thumb with the song, stars will burst out of the pick and you will gain points. When you press the space bar too quickly or too slowly, you lose points.

  Continue pressing the space bar through all three minutes of the song's length. If you miss less than 25 percent of the possible points, you will beat the level and move past River Lake.
