How to Get a Hydra in Critter Forge

"Critter Forge" is an online game that lets players raise unique creatures and battle them against each other in a one-on-one colosseum setting. Players can create new creature types by taking genetic samples from existing creatures and combining them in the game's laboratory. Rare creatures such as the Hydra require multiple generations of breeding to produce. Once hatched, however, these creatures are very powerful and can be used to create additional creature types.

Instructions

  Breed a Wolf and a Moth together by visiting the Laboratory screen and dragging genetic samples from a Wolf and Moth of different genders into the breeding window and click the "Create" button; when the created egg hatches, the offspring will be either a Wolf or a Moth. Breed a genetic sample from this second-generation creature with a genetic sample from another Wolf or Moth, making sure that you don't breed two Wolves or two Moths together to create a third-generation Wolf or Moth. Breed the third-generation Wolf or Moth with another Wolf or Moth, again avoiding a Wolf/Wolf or Moth/Moth pairing; the offspring of this pair will be a Spider.

  Breed your Spider with a Fish, creating a second-generation Spider or Fish. Breed this offspring with another Spider or Fish, and continue breeding the offspring in this manner until you've created five generations. Breed the fifth-generation Spider or Fish with another Spider or Fish, avoiding any Spider/Spider or Fish/Fish pairings, and the offspring will be a Calamari.

  Breed a Spider with your Calamari, creating another Spider or Calamari. Breed this offspring with another Spider or Calamari as you did with previous combinations, making a total of seven generations of offspring. Breed this seventh-generation Spider or Calamari with a creature of the opposite type to create a Hydra.
