Crops/Trees
Experience points are awarded for harvesting trees and crops. The amount each tree or crop nets in experience points varies. In order to maximize the amount of points you receive for each harvest, take into account the time needed for the crop to ripen and how many points are rewarded. For instance, an eggplant nets four experience points in two hours, while cotton nets 12 points within three days. Instead of receiving 12 points from cotton, you could gain 72 from eggplant in the same period of time.
Missions
Missions occasionally appear that offer experience points. The mission could be something as simple as visiting several neighbors or building items such as the greenhouse or doctor's office. In some cases, the quicker you finish the mission, the more experience points you receive. Use your friends to help you complete missions. Do not be afraid to post requests for help when you need to collect items or finish tasks.
Neighbors
Neighbors can help you maximize the number of experience points you can earn. The more neighbors you have, the more points you can possibly earn. When you visit a neighboring homestead, you can perform tasks for experience points. Tasks such as feeding animals can net at least one experience point. Add as many neighbors as possible to increase the number of friends you can visit each day.
Farm Animals
Farm animals on your ̶0;Pioneer Trail̶1; homestead can earn you experience points. As with crops, the amount of points you receive vary by animal. Calculate the maximum amount of points possible before purchasing the animal. For instance, a moose can net two experience points in two hours, while a chicken nets one point every 30 minutes. During the same period, you could earn four points for having a chicken, but only two for a moose.
