How to Build a Spaceship With LEGO Universe

"LEGO Universe" is a free online game. Players start the game as part of the Nexus Force, but when their mothership is attacked, they have to build their own spaceship to escape. This task is one of the first missions players undertake, and it is the first time players engage in crafting. In order to build the spaceship, the player must speak with the mothership's mechanic, gather the necessary supplies and then cobble the ship together.

Instructions

  Approach the ship mechanic, Sky Lane. She's standing on the platform in the southeast corner of the ship.

  Stand next to her and press the left "Shift" key to talk. She will task you with gathering three ship components: the nose, the mid-section and the rocket.

  Wander around the mothership looking for crates. Stand next to a crate and press the left "Alt" key. You'll smash the crate, revealing coins and--if you are lucky--a component for your spaceship. The components appear at random. Continue searching for them until you have found all three.

  Return to Sky Lane and speak with her. She will tell you to go to the ship bay and build your spaceship.

  Go to the bay. It is immediately to the west of Sky Lane. You will find a ship blueprint floating in the middle of the bay. Stand next to it.

  Push the left "Shift" key to open the crafting window. Drag and drop the ship components onto the blueprint. Once you have dropped all three components, your ship will be complete.
