How to Edit Fashions on GirlSense

Pre-teens and teens can have hours of fun designing their own clothing pieces or lines on the website GirlSense. This easy-to-use site provides users with various choices for different types of clothing -- like dresses, shoes or tops. Teens can pick a design they admire and edit the style to make it their own. Save your designs to your studio, and develop an entire line of your own signature fashions.

Instructions

  Create a user name and password to register for an account on girlsense.com. Enter your age and parent's email address to sign up. The site automatically loads onto your computer screen, once you submit your account information.

  Go to "My Studio" to design clothing. Click on the "Fashions" tab, which is located directly under "My Studio."

  Pick the type of clothing you want to design from the options given -- such as a dress, top, skirt, pants, footwear, swimwear or accessories. Pick a particular style to edit from the selection provided.

  Click on the left side toolbar to bring up the fabric palette. Choose animal print, solids, floral, ethnic or plaid.

  Add stamps -- such as peace signs, hearts or flowers -- by choosing one from the stamp palette.

  Choose the text icon to put a word or saying on your design. Type the words into the box provided. You can also apply buttons, stain marks, distinctive stitching or stencils by picking from the left side toolbar.

  Preview your design, and decide if you would like to edit it further. If not, click "Save" to add the edited design to your studio.
