How Do You Help the Man Whose Truck Is Stuck on Poptropica?

Poptropica is a virtual adventure world for kids comprised of several islands. Each island features a different game with challenges that allow players to earn points and prizes. One of the islands, Cryptids Island, features a game hunting for cryptids (legendary creatures that may or not be real) like Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster. Whoever finds proof of the cryptids' existence is promised a huge prize from eccentric billionaire Harold Mews. A challenge on this island calls for kids to help an old man with a truck stuck behind a bridge. The prize for this challenge is a camera needed to complete the game.

Instructions

- 1
  Obtain access to the Mews helicopter and fly to Loch Ness. The helicopter is located on a helipad outside of Mews Mansion. Once outside Mews Mansion, walk to the right a few paces to the helipad and step up into the helicopter door. Once inside the chopper, choose ̶0;Loch Ness̶1; on the dashboard to transport yourself there. The screen will change as you are transported to Loch Ness.

  Get off the helicopter at Loch Ness. You will land on a pier there. Go to the right several paces. An old man with a white beard and glasses is standing there with a truck. Talk to him. Your character will say ̶0;Is everything OK?̶1; and ̶0;Can I help?̶1; Click on "Can I help?" to get him to respond. His response, ̶0;My truck is stuck. The trailer is too tall to fit under this bridge. Can you help me get it out?̶1;

  Click on the left tire. The screen will change into a close-up of it. Place the cursor hand over the valve on the tire. Press and hold the valve to deflate the tire completely so the truck can pass under the bridge. When you̵7;re finished, the man will give you his camera as a reward for helping him. The camera's card will appear on the screen, which describes the camera as the waterproof "Rugged Camera." You need this a camera to get pictures of both the Loch Ness Monster and the footprint in the snow at the top of the Himalayans later in the adventure. The camera card will then float into your backpack and become part of the items you have collected.

  Continue on to meet your next challenge in your quest to find evidence of cryptids' existence and win the prize form Harold Mews.
