How to Get Host Verbs on Icon Ultima

If you want to set up and play the "Icon Ultima" online game, while designating the servers to which you want to connect, you need to edit the configuration file. Within the configuration file, you can set the host_ids. Host_ids are the host verb names for the server IPs to which you wish to connect. This is useful as it allows you to name your server, rather than refer to an Internet Protocol (IP) address or similar.

     Open your "Icon Ultima" installation directory.

     Double-click "config."

     Right-click "host_ids" and click "Open With." Select "Notepad" from the list of programs.

     Replace the host verbs on the left with your chosen ones. Replace the keys or IPs on the right with your chosen ones.

     Exit and save.
