Multiplayer Rules for Dead Frontier

"Dead Frontier" is the Web browser-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) in which players from around the world work together to battle against a zombie apocalypse. As with any multiplayer community, "Dead Frontier" asks its players to follow a set of rules and terms of service to create a safe and pleasant community.
  1. Speech

    • Players in "Dead Frontier" are allowed to swear, as the game is geared for a mature audience. However, players should not overuse profanities or use them to insult other players. Likewise, do not use discriminatory slurs such as those pertaining to race or ethnicity. Do not impersonate other players or staff members. When posting images or links to images, check that the image does not contain inappropriate or obscene content.

    Accounts

    • Players can create as many accounts as they wish and trade items between these accounts. If you own multiple accounts, however, you are not allowed to PvP (player-versus-player) your two accounts against one another to earn PvP points. Do not trade, gift or share accounts with anyone, or log into accounts that are not your own. "Dead Frontier" rules state that if you lose your account due to irresponsibility -- sharing your password or making a password that is easy to guess, for example -- staff will not restore your account, currency or lost items.

    Trading and Scams

    • Do not trade items, accounts or currency in "Dead Frontier" for things outside of "Dead Frontier," like real-life goods, money or virtual goods in other games. Likewise, do not attempt to scam other players to take their items, currency or accounts. As item-for-item trading is not yet supported, only trades on an item-for-in-game-currency basis should occur.

    Cheating

    • "Dead Frontier" discourages cheating in all forms, including hacking the game's database or server, controlling the speed of the game client or modifying variables. Do not use third-party applications unless a "Dead Frontier" staffer has specified that the application is okay. If you find a bug in the game that allows you an unfair advantage, report it to the support system rather than exploit it for personal gains and do not share the exploit with others. Do not engage in PvP matches where the sole purpose is to allow one player to defeat another to gain PvP points.
