How to Get Free Items on Dragons of Atlantis

"Dragons of Atlantis" is an online strategy game played exclusively through Facebook in which your goal is to take over the city of Atlantis, rebuild it and rule it. Invaders play a major part of the game as they can invade your city at any time. However, with items, weapons, money and troops, you have a better chance of defending your city and helping it thrive. Most items can be bought with rubies, but there are certain tips and techniques that will allow you to get items for free.

  Open a new "Dragons of Atlantis" account on Facebook, and you will automatically be given 20 rubies. Note that this can only be done one time, and you cannot delete and create another game on the same account in order to get more rubies.

  Play "Fortuna's Chance" once a day when you log into "Dragons of Atlantis." Click on the free spin for a chance to win free items daily, such as food, rubies, mystery boxes, a completion grant, lumber or a chance at more free spins. Keep in mind that you get one spin per day on "Fortuna's Chance," and if you miss your daily spin, it will not rollover to the next day.

  Travel to the Anthropus locations in the wilderness and camp areas. Perform a successful attack on the anthro troops in the area for a chance to collect dropped loot. Attack camps that are higher levels, such as level 10 for a better chance of winning items. Repeat the attack several times in order to increase your chances, as you are not guaranteed to win items with every attack.
