How to Get Miasmic Ancients

In "RuneScape," Miasmic spells are Ancient Magicks that cut a foe's attack speed in half. These rare spells can be obtained by members who have completed the Desert Treasure quest in the Kharidian Desert. Ancient Magicks and regular magic cannot be used together. Gaining access to Ancient Magicks requires switching over to their associated spellbook. While most Ancient Magicks can be used with the Ancient Staff, the Miasmic spells can be unlocked only with Zuriel's Staff.

Instructions

- 1
  Travel to the Pyramid in the south of the Kharidian Desert. This barren desert is crawling with enemies such as bandits and crocodiles, so be ready for a fight.

  Enter the Pyramid through the tunnel around the back. This secret entrance is accessible after the Desert Treasure quest and is a shortcut past the more dangerous areas within the Pyramid.

  Find the altar within the Pyramid. Pray at the altar to switch over to the Ancient Spellbook. You will now have access to all Ancient Magicks, but the Miasmic spells will still be locked.

  Obtain Zuriel's Staff. This rare item can drop from any Revenant monster. Zuriel's Staff can also be traded or sold, but given its rarity, players often charge two million gold or more for this item. Once you equip Zuriel's Staff, the Miasmic spells will be unlocked.
