How to Get Changes From the Minecraft Painterly Pack

"Minecraft" is a sandbox game where players gather materials and build structures by day and defend themselves from monsters by night. Players can customize the textures in "Minecraft" so that their game world looks the way they want. The painterly pack is one such texture pack that allows you to choose from a variety of textures and to create your own, customized pack online.

Instructions

Pack Creation

  Visit the painterly pack website at http://painterlypack.net/.

  Click the "Create" image button.

  Choose from the lists which textures you would like to include in your custom painterly pack. Click the radio button to the left of each texture image.

  Click "Create My Painterly Pack!" at the bottom of the page and then download the ZIP archive to your hard drive.
Installation

  Launch "Minecraft" and log in with your name and password.

  Click "Mods and Texture Packs" from the main menu.

  Click "Open Texture Pack Folder" to open the texture pack directory in Windows Explorer.

  Move the ZIP archive containing your customized painterly pack into this directory. Do not extract the files from the archive.

  Return to the "Minecraft" texture pack menu and select the pack matching the name of your ZIP archive. Click "Done."
