The source of this annoying problem can depend on many factors, including the game itself, the browser plugins you have installed or even your computer monitor. Though the cause of this issue will vary from game to game, there are several troubleshooting steps you can work through to discover an appropriate solution.

  Try to load other Flash games in your browser. If other games are displaying normally, then the problem is with the embedded game itself. If this is the case, contact the site's administrator to let him know of the problem. If you're having problems with all Flash games, then continue to step 2.

  Update your version of Adobe Flash Player. This browser plug-in is necessary for playing any Flash media. If you are using Google Chrome, then your browser already has Flash built in and will automatically update on its own. If you are using another browser, such as Firefox or Internet Explorer, then you need to go to the Adobe Flash website, install the plug-in, and restart your browser.

  Turn your monitor off, wait five seconds, and then turn your monitor back on again. While this may seem like an overly simple fix, a quick reset like this is a common cure for stuck pixels. Stuck pixels can happen in older or slightly damaged monitors. A stuck pixel often manifests as a flickering red or pink dot withing a particular portion of your screen. Sometimes a stuck pixel will only appear over a certain Web element, such as a Flash game.
