How to Install Add-Ons in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm on a Mac

̶0;World of Warcraft: Cataclysm̶1; allows you to install add-ons that change and improve certain functions in the game. If your system runs Mac OS X version 10.4 or above, you can install the free Curse client for your ̶0;World of Warcraft̶1; game. This allows you to find and install add-ons from a large online library. You can also manage updates and uninstall add-ons through the Curse client at any time.

Instructions

  Open your Internet browser, navigate to the Curse website, and then click ̶0;Client̶1; from the menu.

  Click the ̶0;Download for Mac̶1; button to download and install the Curse client for ̶0;World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.̶1;

  Sign up for a free account at the Curse website, and then log in to the client with your Curse account.

  Click ̶0;Add Game̶1; if the client does not automatically detect your ̶0;World of Warcraft̶1; installation. Navigate to your ̶0;World of Warcraft̶1; folder, and then click ̶0;OK̶1; to add it to the client.

  Click ̶0;Get More Addons̶1; to see a list of add-ons that are compatible to your game.

  Highlight the add-on, and then click ̶0;Install̶1; to download and install to the ̶0;World of Warcraft.̶1; You will see the download and installation progress in the viewer. Once the download is complete, you can use the add-on in your ̶0;World of Warcraft: Cataclysm̶1; game.
