How to Gach in MapleStory

In "MapleStory," Gachapon machines award random items to players who buy Gachapon tickets through the Cash Shop. This in-game lottery is so popular that the act of trying your hand at Gachapon is referred to simply as "gach." Gachapon tickets sell for 1000 NEXON Cash apiece, with no limit to how many you can purchase. Gachapon prizes can range anywhere from costume accessories to rare weapons.

  Click the "Cash Shop" button at the bottom of your screen to enter the Cash Shop. Purchase Gachapon tickets using your NEXON Cash. Double-click the tickets after you have purchased them to add them to your in-game inventory.

  Travel to any of the "MapleStory" locations that house a Gachapon machine. You'll find Gachapon machines in New Leaf City, Mushroom Shrine, Heneseys, Ellinia, Perion, Kerning City, Sleepywood, Showa Town's Sauna, Nautilus, El Nath, Aquarium and Ludibrium.

  Use a Gachapon ticket on a machine to collect a random item. Though the items are selected at random, players often flock to machines that have been reported to drop particularly good items. Keep in mind that Gachapon tickets are a gamble, and there is no guarantee that you will get a rare item.
