How Do I Feed My Dragon in MapleStory?

The dragon is one of the many available pets in the massive multiplayer online role-playing game "MapleStory." Since it costs real money in the form of "NX Credit" to purchase these pets, you will definitely want to keep them healthy and happy. To do so, you need to purchase pet food and feed it to your dragon in order to prevent it from getting too hungry. There are two ways to feed your dragon: buying special food for it in the cash shop or buying regular food for it from an in-game merchant.

Instructions

Buying from the Cash Shop

  Start the game and log into your account. Select the world and channel that you want to play in before selecting your character that has the dragon that you want to feed.

  Press the tilde "~" key on your keyboard to open the "MapleStory" cash shop. Click the red "Pet" tab at the top of the screen and then click the "Pet Use" tab just below it.

  Click the "2" at the bottom of the screen to scroll to the second page of the shop and click "Buy" next to the "Dragon Marble Candy." This special dragon food will increase your dragon's fullness to 100 percent and raise its closeness with 100 points at a cost of 1000 NX credits.

  Click "Exit" to return to the game and press "I" to open your inventory. Click the "Cash" tab and then double-click your dragon to move it from your inventory to the gameworld if it is not following you already.

  Click the "Use" tab and then double-click the "Dragon Marble Candy" to feed it to your dragon. A speech bubble above your dragon will indicate that it has eaten the food and the amount in your inventory will decrease by one.
Buying from an In-game Merchant

  Start the game and log into your account. Select the world and channel that you want to play in before selecting your character that has the dragon you want to feed.

  Travel to the town of Henesys, which you will find on Victoria Island. Walk to the middle of town where you will see a large sign that reads "Market Place." Stand in front of the glowing portal underneath this sign and press "Up" on your keyboard to enter.

  Walk all the way to the right of the marketplace area until you see a character called Doofus who is a pet food seller. He is the character with the round glasses standing next to a basket of kittens.

  Double-click Doofus to open his store menu. Click the "Pet Food" item available for 30 Mesos and then click the "Buy Item" button. Enter the amount that you are willing to buy and then click the "OK" button.

  Click "Leave Shop" and then press "I" to open your inventory. Click the "Cash" tab and then double-click your dragon to move it from your inventory to the gameworld if it is not following you already.

  Click the "Use" tab and then double-click the "Pet Food" to feed it to your dragon. A speech bubble above your pet will indicate that it has eaten the food and the amount in your inventory will decrease by one.
