How to Get Epic Bot on RuneScape to Run Fast

"Runescape" is a multiplayer online role-playing game where players run through a fantasy realm, facing various monsters and dungeons along the way. There are several different cheat engines and "bots" players can run to make their games run smoother. These include the "Epic Bot," which automatically runs the game for players. But running this resource-hogging program can slow down your computer, causing "Epic Bot" to run slower. Speeding up your computer will help speed up the bot. You can also control the speed of "Epic Bot" from the game menu.

Improving Computer Speed

  Click on "Start" on your computer, and scroll to "Control Panel." Choose "Disk Cleanup" and let it run to remove excess files, such as temporary Internet files, "Recycle Bin" files and Windows temporary files.

  Delete files and programs you never use, to help clean up your hard drive. Uninstall games and other programs you no longer use. Clear up the hard drive to help it run more smoothly.

  Run your spyware and virus protections programs, to clean your computer of these harmful files. These files often cause your computer to run slower than normal.

  Go to your "Control Panel" again, and run the system "Defragmentation" program. Let this program run until it is done.

  Run these programs on a regular basis to keep your hard drive clean of excess files, viruses and spyware and to keep it from becoming excessively fragmented.
Speeding the Program

  Download the bot from the Epic Bot website download link. Open the installer, and install it to "C:\Program Files\EpicBot."

  Click on the "Start" menu, and open your programs folder. Scroll through your list, and find "Epic Bot." Select it to run the "Epic Bot" program.

  Input your "Runescape" user name into the "User Name" text box. Add your password in the text box underneath. Click on the "Options" button just before you sign into the program.

  Choose your "Graphics" options, and turn these down to the lowest settings. Turn all the other game display options down as low as possible. Choose "OK" to exit the game options menu.

  Click on "Login" to begin the "Epic Bot" program. Watch the program to see how fast it runs through the game. Stop the program, if you think it's running too slow, and tweak your game options more.
