How to Add Your Photo on IMVU

  Go to your IMVU avatar home page and access the ̶0;Account Settings & Tools̶1; page. Click the ̶0;Edit̶1; button in the About Me section and select ̶0;Edit Profile̶1; from the Edit drop-down menu; alternately, click ̶0;Account̶1; in the top right corner between your avatar name and the Sign Out link.

  Look for the ̶0;Upload Avatar Image̶1; link in the ̶0;Member Profile̶1; section and review the most recent update from IMVU about approved file types and sizes. IMVU account holders can upload files up to 200KB in this area.

  Click the ̶0;Choose File̶1; button to access image files on your computer or an external device.

  Select a file from your image files and click the ̶0;Open̶1; button.

  Save the change to your profile by clicking the ̶0;Update Profile̶1; button at the bottom right corner of the ̶0;Member Profile̶1; section.

My Gallery

  Go to your IMVU avatar home page and scroll down to the ̶0;My Gallery̶1; section.

  Click the ̶0;Upload Image̶1; link. A section opens in the gallery, providing information about the most recent approved file sizes. IMVU account holders can upload files up to 1MB to the gallery at the time this article was written.

  Select an image file from your computer or external device in the window that opens and click the ̶0;Open̶1; button.

  Click the ̶0;Upload̶1; button in the My Gallery section to add and save your photo.
