Begin playing the game, and travel to the Lighthouse. Go up the stairs to the lighthouse beacon and select the "Play Jet Pack" option at the beacon to begin playing.
Press the left mouse button to give yourself a rocket boost while playing. You need to make use of the boost to avoid certain objects and collect others.
Collect the red gas tanks simply by making contact with them in your jet pack. You will automatically receive more fuel.
