How to Dye Your Hair in MapleStory

When you first create your character in the massively multi-player online role-playing game "MapleStory," you have the choice of black, brown, blond or orange hair. Once made, this decision is final, but there is a way to dye the color of your character̵7;s hair at one of the many salons in the game world. While it is just a cosmetic change, you will still need to spend real cash on the coupon that allows you to do this. You will also have more color choices than when you created your character.

  Start the game and log in to your account. Select the world and channel you want to play in and then select the character whose hair you want to dye.

  Press the tilde key "~" once you are in the game to access the cash shop. Left-click the "Etc" tab at the top of the game screen and then click on the "Beauty Parlor" section just below it.

  Click the "Buy" button next to the "Hair Color Coupon (REG)" or "Hair Color Coupon (VIP)." The "VIP" coupon costs twice as much as the "REG" coupon but allows you to choose the color of the dye. The "REG" will dye your character's hair a random color when used. The cost will be deducted from your available "NX Credit" as shown at the bottom of the shop screen.

  Click the "Exit" button on the bottom left of the shop screen to return to the game after you have purchased the coupon you prefer. Travel to any of the hair salons in the game world and enter.

  Double-click on the "hair salon assistant" if you have the "REG" coupon or on the "hair salon owner" if you have the "VIP" ticket. Click "Dye your hair" from the conversation menu that appears.

  Click the "Next" and "Back" buttons to cycle through all the available hair dye colors if you are using the "VIP" ticket. If you used the "REG" ticket, you will get a random color. Click "OK" once you are happy with the dye color to use your ticket and dye your character's hair.
