How to Get to the Barren Room in MapleStory

The Barren Room is a map in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game ̶0;MapleStory.̶1; It is located within Phantom Forest̵7;s Haunted House, beyond the Prendergast Mansion. In addition to the Barren Room map, the Haunted House offers players the opportunity to fight monsters such as the Glutton Ghoul and the Psycho Jack Box. The area̵7;s Steward nonplayable character (NPC) is also part of the ̶0;Haunted House 2" quest.

Instructions

     Travel to the Phantom Forest until you reach the ̶0;Crossroads 1" map, located past the Twisted Paths.

     Step through the right-middle portal on the ground floor to enter the Bent Tree, then choose the portal on the far left of the screen.

   • 3

     Walk left and step into the Haunted House to enter the Foyer.

   • 4

     Walk left and climb up two flights of steps.

   • 5

     Step into the portal immediately left of the second staircase to enter the Barren Room.
