How to Change the Colors of the Words on RuneScape

Changing the colors of your in-game chat within "RuneScape" is a good way to get other players' attention. In the original version of "RuneScape," colors were assigned by adding an "@" symbol and a bit of abbreviated color code to the beginning of your text. In the current version of "RuneScape," however, this system has been greatly simplified. Once you know the proper color prefix, you can quickly give your words a makeover.

Instructions

  Choose which color you'd like to use. "RuneScape" chat supports five different colors: cyan, green, purple, red and white.

  Type your chosen color within the chat field, followed by a colon. Use all lowercase letters. For example, if you want to color your text red, type "red:".

  Add your message directly after the color code. Do not put a space between the colon and the text. If you want your red text to read "Hello!", type "red:Hello!". This color will not carry over to your next line of text.
