How to Get to Kerning From Ariant Island

In the 2-D online game "MapleStory," players explore Maple World, complete quests, battle monsters and customize the appearance of characters. The starting area for all characters is Maple Island, and leveling takes you quickly to Victoria Island. Kerning City is a low-level area on Victoria Island, a destination for players wishing to become thieves. Some lower level quest lines involve traveling to Ariant, a more advanced area located in the Nehal Desert. Players arrive via a portal or magic genie and leave the town by similar means.

Instructions

  Walk to the eastern side of Ariant and take the far right portal, which transports you outside the east entrance of town.

  Continue traveling east through the Burning Sands, to a location called "The Tent of Entertainers." It is two maps to the right of the Town of Ariant.

  Look for the non-player character (NPC) wearing a turban. His name is Karcasa. Talk to him to bring up the option for passage to Victoria Island.

  Pay Karcasa 10,000 mesos and he will teleport you to a random town on Victoria Island.

  Walk south from Perion, north from Henesys, east from Lith Harbor or west from Ellinia. When you approach the Six Path Crossway, climb the ropes to the upper left-hand ledge and take the portal to Kerning City.
