Line Rider
Line Rider is a web-based game where you create a path for a sled-riding stick figure. A simple pencil tool draws lines over a white background. You can draw downward and upward sloping ramps, wide gaps for jumping and loops that make the sledder go upside down. The laws of gravity still apply in this game, so making sure the little line rider has enough momentum is the key to your success.
Urban Stickman Sniper
This is a first person shooter game in a minimalist form. You will take on the role of a rookie hitman working in Stickville. For each level you receive an email stating the name of the target or targets. You are then faced with a wide angle view of a line drawn street with about two dozen little stick figures walking around. The scenario description provide some kind of clue as to which stick figure you must take out. The hardest part about this game is after you make one kill, all the stick figures in the immediate vicinity (including any secondary targets) start running in opposite directions.
Turret Defense 2
There are a few different versions of the castle defense genre adapted to stick figures floating around the Internet. However, Turret Defense 2 is unique because players get unlimited ammunition. You control a rather large machine gun perched on a hill while hoards of little stick soldiers come racing towards you. As you progress through the levels, the opposition gets tougher. The first level pits you against simple foot soldiers. Soon, you will have to face machine-gun mounted jeeps driven by stick figures. If you manage to stay in the game long enough, you will eventually face off against helicopters and stick figures racing toward you with rocket launchers.
Stickman Skater and Stickman BMX
The games mentioned until now have been web-based but the developer Traction Games has created Stickman Skater and Stickman BMX for the the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. For both games you control your rider as he perform midair flips and spins, jumps over parked cars or grinds on railing; all on either their skate board or BMX bicycle. As with other skateboard and bike games, landing properly is key to not bailing and starting over from the beginning.
