How to Beat a Leap Hole in World of Goo on the iPad

"Leap Hole" is the sixth level in chapter two of the iPad puzzle game "World of Goo." The game requires you to build structures by placing balls of goo in specific locations. Once aligned, the balls create shapes that form structures other balls can climb and, ultimately, reach the escape faucet. Each level requires you to help a certain number of goo balls escape through the faucet. The Leap Hole level is comprised entirely of green goo balls, which can be plucked back out of a structure and used again.

Instructions

  Press and hold one of the moving goo balls to pick it up. Hold it above the top two goo balls in the structure that is present when the level begins. Release the goo ball when it forms a connection with the two goo balls in the tower.

  Pick up a second goo ball and hold it above the top of the tower. Release the goo ball when it creates a connection with the top two goo balls in the tower.

  Pick up a third goo ball and hold it above the top of the tower, releasing it when it creates a connection with the two goo balls beneath it. This goo ball makes the tower high enough to be engaged by the suction from the escape faucet, which supports the tower from above.

  Press and hold one of the goo balls at the top of the structure, just below the goo ball that's being sucked into the faucet. Pull it out of the structure and drop it onto the line connecting the top goo ball with the rest of the tower. The goo ball escapes out of the faucet.

  Pull another goo ball out of the structure from the opposite side of the tower than the previous one. Drop it onto the connecting lines so it can escape through the faucet.

  Continue pulling goo balls out of the tower, working your way down the structure until a single line of goo balls is suspended from the faucet.

  Remove goo balls one at a time from the bottom of the line of goo balls so they can climb the connections and escape, until only two goo balls are hanging from the pipe. Eight goo balls have now been collected, which allows you to finish the level.

  Pull the chain to end the level.
