How to Make Swordfish Gloves in RuneScape

If you're serious about fishing in "RuneScape," Swordfish Gloves can go a long way toward helping you max out your skill levels. Every time you catch a swordfish while wearing these special gloves, you are awarded an extra 100 experience points. Swordfish Gloves cannot be found on the Grand Exchange, and unlike other rare items, they cannot be crafted by players. The only way to acquire the Swordfish Gloves is to participate in the Fist of Guthix, a player-versus-player (PvP) activity located north of Falador.

  Level your Fishing skill up to 65. Without your skill this high, the Swordfish Gloves will be completely useless. While some items can give you an artificial boost to your skills, your base Fishing skill has to be 65 for the gloves to be equipped.

  Acquire 200 Fist of Guthix tokens. For every victory you achieve in the Fist of Guthix PvP activity, you can be awarded anywhere from two to 25 tokens. If you lose a match, you'll be awarded one token. Keep playing and hoarding your tokens to get up to the required amount.

  Talk to Reggie in the lobby within the Gamer's Grotto. Reggie sells token rewards for the Fist of Guthix, and he is the only non-player character (NPC) in RuneScape that will sell you Swordfish Gloves. Hand over your hard-earned tokens to him and claim your reward.
