"Grand Chase" is an online role-playing game in which players can partake of any number of quests in a fantasy 2-D environment. As part of the game, players can upgrade certain equipment such as necklaces or pendants. If you wish to upgrade your own necklace, you can do so with the help of a special item known as a gem.

Instructions

      Select the "Shop" option in the game's main menu. Then select the "Academy" tab in the shop menu.

      Buy gems from the Academy section of the shop. One gem costs 1,000 GP, so if you need to upgrade a necklace to full power, you must spend 21,000 GP on 21 gems.

      Use the gems on your necklace to upgrade it. You can use one gem to upgrade to level 1, but you need two gems at a time to upgrade to levels 2 to 4 and three gems at a time to upgrade to levels 6 to 9.
