How to Finish Catching the Water Thief Monster in MapleStory

The creators of "MapleStory" call it "the world̵7;s first and most successful side-scrolling 2-D online game." It is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that combines the Japanese-inspired graphics of adventure games like "Final Fantasy" with a simple interface. Players can complete several in-game quests and tasks in addition to the free-form game play of interacting with other players. One of the in-game quests is capturing the Water Thief Monster. While the steps to doing so are apparent, finishing the job can seem like a real chore if you don't know when the end is in sight. You must be at least Level 20 to catch the Water Thief.

     Travel to Elelstein Strolling Path 3 to find the Water Thieves.

     Battle a Water Thief and defeat it.

   • 3

     Pick up the blue vial of water that is dropped.

   • 4

     Travel to Black Wing Territory in Edelstein and enter the storage area.

   • 5

     Place the water in the water tank.

   • 6

     Repeat Steps 1 through 5 ten times. On the 10th time, the Water Thief Monster will be caught in the water tank.

     Exit the storage area and speak to the old man named Surl standing next to it. He will give you a reward of 700 experience and a mechanical chair.
