How to Get the Lantern in the Himalayas on Poptropica

In the online role-playing game, ̶0;Poptropica," players must go from island to island as they solve puzzles, do quests and battle bad guys. At one point in the game, they must obtain a lantern in the Himalayas while on Cryptids Island. To get it, you must enter the Monk Temple and talk to the Monk inside it ̵2; but first you must reach them.

Instructions

- 1
  Climb into the helicopter and fly to the spot marked ̶0;Himalayas̶1; on the map. Once you land, head north on foot until you find your guide.

  Talk to the guide and he will offer to lead you up the mountain. Walk up the mountain with him. As you go up the mountain, you will have to connect your rope to the hooks. Click on one of the hooks and the rope will automatically tie on to it. You will need to do this for all six hooks, one at a time.

  Reach the red door and enter it. You will see the Monk Temple on the other side of the door. Speak to the Monk who is standing on top of the building. He won̵7;t let you enter the building until you beat him at a game of ̶0;Yeti vs. Hunters.̶1;

  Play ̶0;Yeti vs. Hunters̶1; with the Monk. To win, you must make it to the other side without getting yourself boxed in. You are allowed to move in any of the directions to which the lines are pointing. You will be given as many chances as you need to beat him. Once you do, you can enter the temple.

  Walk into the temple and speak to the Monk inside it. He will say that you can̵7;t take a picture of the Yeti Scalp as a way to show its existence, but he will give you a lantern that you can use on your journey.
