How to Fly on the Broom on Poptropica Haunted House

The Haunted House level of "Poptropica" gives you access to a skill that's rarely available in this game: the ability to fly. No haunted house is complete without a witch and her flying broomstick, and you'll gain access to this ability early in the level. Once you have the broomstick it will follow you around the level. This makes it impossible to lose even when you're not using it. It is easy to get knocked off of the broom while flying around corners or other sharp edges, but the flying controls are pretty basic.

Instructions

  Go to the left and up the stairs after you enter the haunted house. Jump to the platform on the right, then go up the next set of stairs.

  Jump to the right onto another floor. You'll see a picture of a witch with a broom below you. Click on the spider directly above this picture and the spider will drop down, scaring the witch in the picture and causing her to drop her broom.

  Go down one level to reach the broom. Walk onto the broom to begin flying on it. Your cursor acts as the flying controls, as it turns into an arrow as you're flying. You'll fly wherever this arrow is pointing, so point it wherever you'd like to fly.
