How to Get to the Dead Scarecrow in Haunted House in MapleStory

If you are looking to gain some quick experience in the massively multi-player online role-playing game "MapleStory," the enemy known as Dead Scarecrow is worth seeking out. This level 50 foe attacks via the crow sitting on its large purple hat, but rewards you with 220 experience points if you manage to defeat it. The Dead Scarecrow roams a very specific region of Victory Island known as the Haunted House. This area is accessible to all classes and isn't very hard to reach.

Instructions

  Start the game and enter your name and password to log in to your "MapleStory" account.

  Double click on a world and then channel to connect to the game server. Double-click your character to start playing the game.

  Travel to Kerning City on Victoria Island. Victoria Island is one of the central hubs in the game and you can access it from Ereve, Orbis and Edelstein via air travel.

  Walk all the way to the far left of the city and enter the subway. Double-click on the man standing on the left who is selling tickets and buy one that will take you to New Leaf City.

  Double-click the ticket gate on the right-hand side of the subway and select "New Leaf City" as your destination. Wait for the train to arrive and then journey to the city.

  Exit the subway and then walk all the way to the left of town. You'll spot a large vehicle labelled as the "NLC Taxi." Double-click on the taxi and then click "Yes" when asked if you want to get taken deeper into the wilderness. Once the journey is over, you'll find yourself in the Phantom Forest right in front of the haunted house.

  Walk to the right so that your character is standing right in front of the door of the house and press "Up" on your keyboard to enter. You may encounter the Dead Scarecrow enemy in the study, library, hallway or piano room areas of the haunted house.

  Walk to the left, go up the stairs and enter the first door to the left to reach the hallway area. From the hallway walk to the right and enter the green doorway next to the stairs to enter the piano room. Exit the piano room and enter the door right next to reach the study. Exit the study and go up the stairs. Walk to the left and enter the door on the far left to reach the library.
