How to Improve a Fishing Rod in Toontown

The efforts of "Toontown Online" players to halt the spread of corporatism -- even as cogs cross the world and mechanize it -- is a tireless one. However, every animal can benefit from a break at one of the game's several ponds, where the fishing mini-game occurs. Aside from the benefits of earning trophies and achievement stickers while fishing, players can also sell the fish they've caught for a significant amount of jellybeans (currency), depending on the size of the fish. As your rod is upgraded, bigger fish can be caught and your rewards become greater.

     Press the navigation button on your screen and click "Go Home" to load your personal estate.

     Walk inside to your telephone and click it to bring up Clarabelle's Cattlelog. Select the "Fishing Rods" subsection to view the various choices. After the twig rod that all players get by default, the ascending ranks of rods include bamboo, wood, steel and gold.

     Select the rank that you want and can afford. Bamboo rods cost 400 jellybeans while gold rods cost 2000 jellybeans. Click the "Buy" button to add the rod to your inventory.
