How to Get a Second Floor in Zwinky

"Zwinky" is an online simulation game for the PC that puts you in the shoes of a freshman who has just enrolled in college. Each student is given a dorm room, which can be visited by other players in the game. One of the most popular set-ups is a sort of optical illusion that makes it look like your dorm room has a second floor. The glitch won't actually give your room more space; it just gives it the appearance of more space.

Instructions

  Lay down two rugs at the top of your dorm room floor. Make sure the rugs are not overlapping each other at all. They should take up approximately half of the floor of your dorm room. To lay down the rugs, click the rug from your inventory and click on the floor to place it.

  Expand the rugs horizontally so that they stretch from wall to wall. The rugs will overlap slightly, eliminating any of the original floor from the top half of the room. To expand the rugs, click-and-hold the button that hangs over the corner of the rug and drag your mouse outward.

  Move items on top of the rug to give the appearance that there is a second floor in your dorm room in "Zwinky." To move items, click-and-hold the object until your cursor picks it up. At that point, you can move the item to a new location and click to place it.
