How Do You Get Pass the Door of Hades on Poptropica?

"Poptropica," a free online game aimed primarily at children and younger gamers, takes place over a series of virtual islands where the player must solve puzzles and gather items in order to move on. The games twelfth island, Mythology Island, release in April 2010, uses a Greek mythology theme where players get to interact with Zeus, Hercules, Hades, Poseidon and other famous figures. To complete the level, players must recruit both Poseidon and Hades to stop Zeus from taking over all of Poptropica, however the path to Hades throne room has a large rock in front.

Instructions

  Acquire the magic mirror from Aphrodite. The item allows you to teleport to any of the destinations on the mirror.

  Complete the quest for Zeus by gathering all five of the items requested. These items include a Hydra's scale, the Minotaur's nose ring, a giant pearl, a Cerberus whisker and a flower from the Sphinx's garden. Once these are acquired return to Zeus who will take the items and run.

  Speak with Athena who will advise that you talk with Hercules. Move through the three conversation options from top to bottom.

  Run to Herc's Hero Hut and ask Hercules to help you getting Hades to help stop Zeus. Go through each of the three conversations options from top to bottom, ending with telling Hercules that he won't have to walk.

  Use the mirror to teleport to Hades' gate. Hercules pushes the rock aside and waits there while you enter.
