How to Compose Music on Mabinogi

The free-to-play MMORPG (massively multi-player online role-playing game) "Mabinogi" features a variety of skills. Not only can you battle against monsters and gain levels to make your character stronger, you can also learn skills such as cooking, fishing and composing. Composing allows you to write music of your own and play it back with a musical instrument of your choice. Gaining ranks in this skill boosts a characters INT status. The Composing skill is learned as soon as your character reads the "Introduction to Music Composition" book.

Composing Music In Game

  Purchase the "Introduction to Music Composition" skill book for 500 gold. NPCs who sell this book include Malcom in Tir Chonaill, Aeira in Dunbarton and Nele in Emain.

  Press "I" on your keyboard to open your character's inventory.

  Right-click the skill book and select "Read." You will learn the "Composing" skill.

  Purchase and equip a music instrument, such as a guitar or lute. Music instruments are available from all general stores. A general store exists in every town.

  Purchase a Score Scroll from any general store.

  Press "I" to open your inventory and right-click on the Score Scroll. Select "Compose."

  Type your piece into the Score Scroll.
Using the Music Composer

  Visit the "Composer" page of the "Mabinogi" website.

  Click the letters on the keyboard to create your piece.

  Copy and paste the music from the music composer tool to a Score Scroll in game.
