The game boasts extensive research in breeds and actions, and as such it always helps if players know what they're trying to accomplish so they can make the proper moves. If you want to get an Arabian horse with a champagne color for instance, you're going to have to breed parents with that sort of coloring and hope that the genes get passed on.

  Get an Arabian mare. Buy or try to catch one in the game. If the mare has champagne coloring then so much the better, but it isn't necessary.

  Find an Arabian stallion with champagne coloring. Purchase one or catch one if you want to do the breeding yourself. Or go to the town breeding center. Add your mare to the list for breeding horses. Examine the list of acceptable stallions you can breed with. Find an Arabian stallion with champagne coloring.

  Breed your horses. Examine the coloring of the foals to see whether or not they took on the champagne coloring from their parents. If so, you have Arabian foals with champagne coloring to raise. If not, keep breeding to get the result you want.
