How Do You Beat Betty Jetty on Super Power Island in Poptropica?

Published by Family Education Network, ̶0;Poptropica̶1; is an online gaming site in which players travel to various Islands to battle enemies, solve puzzles and perform quests. On ̶0;Super Power Island,̶1; players battle six enemies, each having a different super power. The last one you must face is Betty Jetty, who has a flying ability and shoots green energy balls. You gain the ability to fly just prior to facing her, but you must also dodge her energy ball attacks in order to get close enough to capture her.

Instructions

- 1
  Face-off against the first five enemies and then return to main section of the island. When you arrive there, the phone in the phone booth will begin ringing. Click on it to answer it. The caller will tell you that you now have the ability to fly.

  Head downtown and fly up to the top of the tallest skyscraper in the city. In order to fly, you must move your mouse icon to the area you want to fly to and click on that area. You will find Betty Jetty on the top of the antenna on the roof of the skyscraper.

  Follow Betty Jetty through the skies when she flies away from you. Dodge the energy balls when she begins attacking you. It is best to fly slightly off screen to avoid the energy balls.

  Close in on Betty Jetty as you dodge her attacks. When you are close enough, touch her to capture her. She will drop to the ground after you have touched her. Your sidekick will appear to help you capture her.
