How to Find the Dark Lord in MapleStory When He Isn't in the Bar

In "MapleStory," the Dark Lord is a quest giver who gives starting quests to aspiring thieves. When inquiring after his location, someone may have told you to seek him out in the Fusion Jazz Bar in Kerning City. However, upon entering the bar, the Dark Lord is nowhere to be seen. Given his shady profession, the Dark Lord prefers to do business in private. You can find him lurking within the Thieves' Hideout, a secret area below the bar.

     Go into the Fusion Jazz Bar. Walk to the bathroom.

     Climb down the ladder in the bathroom. This will lead you through the floor and into the basement.

     Walk through the basement until you find the Dark Lord. He will be hanging from the ceiling like a bat.
