  Become a paid ̶0;Club Penguin̶1; member. Free members do not have access to the necessary game for unlocking the key.

  Travel to the Mine. You can access the Mine by opening your map and clicking its location.

  Click the bulletin board at the back of the room to open the ̶0;Puffle Rescue̶1; game.

  Click the Puffle on the bottom-right; he is identifiable because he is black in color.

  Capture the black Puffle and wait for the giant squid to attack. Capture air bubbles to breathe and avoid the attacks of the monster. Follow his shadow to discover a secret path.

  Follow the path all the way to the right and you will find a hidden entrance. Click ̶0;Enter̶1; to explore it.

  Click the large black key in the underwater room. This key opens the door to the Mermaid Cove.
