How to Farm Mounts in the Dungeons on World of Warcraft

Blizzard Entertainment's "World of Warcraft" features a wide array of items known as "mounts," which increase a player's travel speed substantially. These mounts come in a variety of models, some of which are more difficult to acquire than others. Two such mounts are accessible by defeating specific bosses in two of the game's dungeons; both items have a low drop chance, so you may need to clear the dungeons multiple times to win your prize. This activity is often referred to as "farming," due to the repetitive nature of clearing specific enemies for the loot that they may carry.

Instructions

Deathcharger's Reins

  Travel to the "Eastern Plaguelands" zone, in the "Eastern Kingdoms." Head to "Eastwall Gate," located at the base of the mountain range situated along the northern border of the zone, to the northwest of "Northpass Tower." Right-click on the gate to open it, then travel through the tunnel and walk into the instance portal.

  Open the next gate that you encounter. Travel north until you reach a second gate. Evade or defeat any enemies that you encounter along the way. Continue north through the tunnel and open the next gate. Continue on into "The Gauntlet."

  Travel to the western end of "The Gauntlet" and defeat "Nerub'enkan." Enter the nearby building and defeat the "Thuzadin Acolyte" enemies within. Defeat "Baroness Anastari" in the southeast and "Maleki the Pallid" in the northwest. Clear out the buildings that each one was guarding.

  Travel to the north end of "The Gauntlet," then head through the gates leading west into "Slaughter Square." Defeat all of the "Venom Belcher" and "Vile Spewer" enemies. Defeat "Ramstein the Gorger" when he appears.

  Defeat the "Mindless Undead" and "Black Guard Sentry" enemies that appear. Enter the building in the center of "Slaughter Square." Defeat "Lord Aurius Rivendare" and check his body for the "Deathcharger's Reins" item.
Reins of the Raven Lord

  Travel to "Terrokar Forest" zone, in the "Outlands." Head to center of "Auchindoun," located in the "Bone Wastes," near the southern border of the zone. Go through the passage to the east until you reach the instance portal leading to "Sethekk Halls."

  Right-click on your character portrait and hover your cursor over the "Dungeon Difficulty" option from the menu. Select "5 Player (Heroic)" and enter the instance portal.

  Travel through the tunnel. Defeat or evade any enemies that you encounter along the way. Head to the southern exit in the first room that you encounter.

  Travel south through the tunnel to the next room. Head through the western exit and follow the tunnel as it turns south. Defeat "Darkweaver Syth" and travel through the south exit into the next room.

  Walk up the stairs located at the southern end of the room. Follow the tunnel leading from the top of the steps to another room. Defeat "Anzu" and check his body for the "Reins of the Raven Lord" item.
