  Go to the right upon entering the island and find the crying woman. She will tell you her life is in peril and to follow her inside. You will go into the building called "Pendulum's Lab."

  Walk to the right upon entering the building and approach the man standing in front of the machine. Ask him how to operate the machine. He will tell you that you must power up the machine.

  Walk to the left down the ramp. After getting off the ramp, move back to the right until you come to a metallic wall in front of you.

  Push on the wall to move it until it plugs into a socket. This plug powers on the time machine. The machine will glow blue to confirm that it is powered up.
