How Do I Exit the Grotto Cave in Dungeons & Dragons Online?

̶0;The Grotto̶1; is the very first quest in ̶0;Dungeons & Dragons Online.̶1; The quest itself provides some basic tips for combat and game play, and it acts as a tutorial for new players. Once you complete the quest, finding the grotto cave̵7;s exit can be tricky for a brand new player. If you̵7;re having trouble getting out of the cave, a few simple guidelines get you moving in the right direction toward the hidden exit. After you exit the cave, game play becomes more open, providing a wide world to explore rather than the linear action of ̶0;The Grotto̶1; quest.

Instructions

  Proceed northward through the cave, killing any enemies you find on the way. The grotto cave is essential a straight line moving from the bottom of the map upward. Small offshoots extend to each side, and enemies occasional come from these areas, but these parts of the cave dead-end after just a few feet. Along the straight line are two larger caverns, but the general flow of the cave moves north.

  Kill the enemies in the first cavern room and move on, heading north. Use the map in the upper-left corner of the screen for guidance.

  Kill the high priestess and her minions in the cave̵7;s second cavern.

  Open the treasure chest in the cavern to get your reward after the priestess is dead.

  Look to your left, or westward on your map. You will notice a small cave offshoot. This one dead-ends into a wall rather than a piece of rock. This wall hides the exit to the grotto cave.

  Approach the wall and click the magnifying glass icon on your screen. The wall glows a brighter color than its surroundings, indicating a secret passageway.

  Click the wall to open the passage.

  Click Cellimas, the cleric, to talk to him. He is found in the room behind the secret wall. Talking to Cellimas triggers the quest̵7;s end, opening a new door to the north.

  Exit the cave through the recently opened north passage. You emerge from the cave at Krothos Village. Here, you can buy items from merchants, talk with townspeople, slay monsters outside of town and undertake new quests.
