How to Become a Hunter in MapleStory

"MapleStory" is an online RPG -- role-playing game -- that allows the player to create a character and level it, becoming proficient in different combat styles. Hunters are characters who have trained primarily in ranged combat. They specialize in dealing fast and deadly damage from a distance, mainly with a bow and arrow. To become a hunter in "MapleStory" you need to level your character up to ten, then train as an archer up to level 30.

Instructions

  Load "MapleStory" and sign in to your account. Select to create a new character, or load an existing one that is lower than level ten.

  Begin performing the early level quests on Maple Island, gaining levels and stat points. Place points into strength and dexterity. You will need 15 strength and at least 25 dexterity.

  Reach level ten and leave Maple Island, choosing to go to Henesys. You may take a taxi to Henesys for 100 mesos.

  Go to the Mushroom Park, to the right of the entrance of Henesys, and go to the last building on the far right of the map. Speak to Athena Pierce and she will let you become an archer. Purchase a bow and arrows to use for leveling.

  Continue leveling. Return to Athena Pierce at level 30 and accept the test she gives.

  Complete her test, gathering 30 dark marbles from the enemies on the map the test sends you to, and return to Athena. She will give you two options, to become a hunter or crossbowman.

  Choose to become a hunter.
