Becoming a Wild Hunter
Like all "Rise of the Resistance" character classes, Wild Hunters start out as Citizen characters at Level 1. To become a Wild Hunter, you have to progress to Level 10 by collecting "Experience Points" from battles and quests, then head to the town of Edelstein in the Black Wing Territory. Talk to the nonplayer character Belle to accept Wild Hunter as your First Job.
First Job
Each time you reach a new level, you are given points to assign to your skills. The First Job runs from Level 10 to to Level 30. Assign your skill points as follows: First put a point into each of Triple Shot and Jag Jump, then fill Jaguar Rider to its maximum of 15. Then max out Triple Shot and Crossbow Master to 20 points. Use the final skill points before reaching Level 30 on Jag Jump. Level 30 unlocks a new set of skills under the Second Job advancement.
Second Job
The Second Job advancement runs from Level 30 to Level 70. Assign your skill points as follows: Start by putting a point into Ricochet and two into Soul Arrow, then assign the maximum of 20 to Crossbow Mastery. Next max out Ricochet, then Final Attack, then It's Raining Mines. Then fill Jaguar-oshi and Soul Arrow and put the final skill points before Level 70 into Jaguar Rawr. Level 70 unlocks the Third Job advancement and a new set of skills.
Third Job
The Third Job brings you up to Level 120. Assign the skill points as follows: First put a single point into all the new skills -- Enduring Fire, Dash 'n Slash, Wild Trap, Blind, Silver Hawk and Swipe. Then max out Jaguar Boost at 20 points, then Dash 'n Slash and Enduring Fire at 30. Next fill Wild Trap, Silver Hawk and Swipe to maximum, before putting the final points before Level 120 into Blind.
Fourth Job
The skill build above Level 120 is largely down to player preference, as all Fourth Job-level characters are roughly equivalent in terms of power. The skills unlocked here are mostly advancements of previous skills, so work out what your favorite attacks and moves are and max out the ones you will use the most first. Crossbow Expert is a very useful skill, as are Feline Bezerk, Wild Instinct and Wild Arrow Blast. Maple Warrior is introduced to all classes at Fourth Job, and it's worth putting some points into.
