How to Beat the Haunted House Skull Lock on Poptropica

"Poptropica" is an online virtual world developed by Family Education Network, the makers of FunBrain. Since fall 2007, children all over the world have been encouraged to play and interact safely with one another through quests, stories and games. The Haunted House within "Poptropica" is one quest that can be particularly challenging, especially the last item required for the quest -- a chalice -- which can only be retrieved by unscrambling the "Skull Lock" puzzle.

Instructions

- 1
  Click on the chest in the attic of the Haunted House to activate the "Skull Lock" puzzle. The puzzle will show the steps the game takes to scramble the pieces. Pay attention to this order, as you will need to reverse it to open the lock.

  Unscramble the puzzle by moving the columns one square at a time by dragging them with your mouse. Start with column "C" and move it up. Move column "B" down. Finally, move column "A" up.
- 3
  Move the rows one square at a time by dragging them with your mouse in this order:
  
  Move row "1" to the left.
  Row "2" moves to the right.
  Then move row "3" to the left.
  
  The puzzle is complete and the chalice can be retrieved from the chest.
