How to Get Gachapon in Mabinogi

"Mabinogi" is a free fantasy role-playing game that puts as much emphasis on crafts and the user experience as it does on fighting monsters and exploring dungeons. In order to engage in crafts and dress up, however, the player needs items. Most of these items are available in the game store, including the numerous varieties of gachapons -- wrapped mystery gifts. Sometimes, gachapons contain rare items. Other times, the items are useful but commonplace. The player has no way of knowing until he opens the gift.

Instructions

  Click on the "Item Shop" button at the bottom of the screen. This brings up the in-game Item Shop.

  Select a gachapon. If you're less than level 30, you can purchase only beginner gachapons. Otherwise, you can choose from a variety including soldier and fashion gachapons. Specialized gachapons are more likely to contain items relevant to the specialization.

  Click the "Buy" button. This brings you to the checkout menu. To purchase items from the Item Shop, you must use real-world money.

  Choose a payment method, and fill out the requested information. When you're done, the gachapon will appear in your inbox. Open your Mabinogi inbox to get it.
