Willow Creek
Travel to Willow Creek to begin the Black Wolf quest. Willow Creek is a rustic farming village and the starting point for several quests. As it is one of the starting towns in the game, most of the monsters found in and around the village are relatively low-level. Monsters like the Mosquito, Frogzard and Drakel Soldier are common. There are no shops in Willow Creek, so stock up on necessary items before traveling there. Type "/join willowcreek" into your text box to instantly travel to the village.
Church Elder Calafalas
Speak to Church Elder Calafalas to begin the "The Bone" quest. If you successfully complete the quest for him, he gives you the Black Wolf as a reward. Once in Willow Creek, go to the only church in the village to find Calafalas. He informs you of strange creatures coming out at night and eating the resident farm animals. He asks you to be a "true adventurer" and stop whatever is killing the animals in the village.
Werewolf Hunting
Exit the church and travel to the woods just to the right of the town. Immediately, the sky grows darker as you progress through game screens. Fight the Giant Werewolf you find in the clearing. The Giant Werewolf is a Level 4 creature with 992 hit points. Fire attacks work best. Kill four more Werewolves in the clearing for a total of five collected Werewolf Furs. Return to Church Elder Calafalas.
Black Wolf
Speak to Church Elder Calafalas and give him the five Werewolf Furs. He thanks you for saving the farm animals and gives you the Black Wolf. Open your inventory and select the Black Wolf to equip it. The pet has a resale value of 125 Gold. Its levels commiserate with your own experience and is a useful companion in battle. When not in battle, equip the pet to follow you around in villages and other map locations.
