How to Get the Ability to Tame in World of Warcraft

Hunter-class characters in ̶0;World of Warcraft̶1; can learn the Tame Beast spell, which allows a hunter to turn a beast into a loyal companion. The tamed beast fights in battle for the hunter, attacking enemies and trying to keep their attention, allowing the hunter to attack from afar with ranged attacks. Hunters can learn the Tame Beast ability from a hunter class trainer after they reach Level 10.

Instructions

  Start a hunter character in ̶0;World of Warcraft̶1; and work to reach Level 10 by completing quests and killing enemies. Only hunters can learn the Tame Beast ability.

  Locate a nearby hunter trainer after you reach Level 10. Hunter trainers are located near towns in the starting areas as well as in major cities. Nearby hunter trainers appear as a book icon on the mini-map at the upper-right corner of your screen.

  Right-click the hunter trainer to talk to her. The training window appears.

  Select the ̶0;Tame Beast̶1; ability in the list and click the ̶0;Train̶1; button to learn the skill. Learning the skill costs six silver coins and 80 copper coins.
