How to Become a Mechanic in MapleStory

With the arrival of the "Big Bang" update in the "MapleStory" universe that shook the game world came the advent of the Mechanic class. Most of a Mechanic's combat efficiency and skills come from the mech suit, a robotic array of gadgets and weapons, making it a wholly unique character to play as. Players get started forging a trail in their suit early in the game.

  Create a new character on your account and choose to make it a "Resistance" member. The Resistance is a group of rebels attempting to take back the small tutorial town of Edelstein and hold back the Black Mage's forces, who is the primary antagonist in the game.

  Play hide-and-seek with the group of friends that you start with. This is a simple quest intending to teach you simple game mechanics and quest progression.

  Fight the "Black Wings" around town to gain experience, which accumulates to raise your character's level. Build up experience until you reach level ten.

  Speak with Headmaster Ferdi. He directs you to your headquarters.
- 5
  Enter the Resistance HQ and speak with Checky to train as a Mechanic character. After this point, you can summon your mech suit.
