How to Make a Horse Coat for the Black Pearl

"Howrse for Friends" is an application hosted by Facebook.com which simulates the life of a horse trainer. Users can pick from a huge selection of coats of hair for their horses to wear that were designed by players and voted on in a monthly competition. If you submit an illustration for a coat and it is accepted into the store, you will be rewarded every time somebody buys your coat.

Instructions

  Open a picture of a horse outline in Microsoft Paint.

  Color in the horse picture depending on how you want your horse to look. It doesn't need to be intricate, but it should be neat and the tones for the coat should be natural.

  Navigate to the "Howrse for Friends" application on Facebook.com. Under the "My Horses" tab, expand "My Coats" and click "Create a Coat." Submitting a coat costs one black pearl, which can be bought in the game's store, though they don't restock very often and usually sell quickly.

  Click "Search..." to open your directory, then select your horse coat image. Click "Submit."

  Wait until the end of the month, when the latest submitted coats are voted on by the "Howrse" community. If yours is accepted, one is added to your inventory and others can purchase it.
