Play through Cryptids Island until you cut loose the balloon at the top of a building. This will also give you a nylon rope. Go to the right until you reach Main Street and enter Kitty's Kites. Talk to Kitty and select the option "Can I try out one of these kites?"
Go into your inventory and click "Use" on the nylon rope. Kitty will give you the Kitesurfer X250. Exit the shop and go all the way to the left until you see a seal resting on a rock. Go out into the water to his left and click on the Kitesurfer X250 in your inventory to use it. This will start a brief section where you're kite surfing in the ocean.
Jump up whenever a wave hits you. You'll see a jet boat in front of you after roughly 20 seconds, and your rival in the boat will burn up your kite. You will then wake up in a hospital bed with a man named Mews watching over you. Click on the water near the bed to drink it, then go to the right to exit the room.
Drop down to the bottom floor of the mansion and go all the way to the right. Go into the door in this area and drop down to the ground floor again. Go to the right and you'll see five pictures of different mythological creatures. There will be a computer terminal next to each of these pictures with a large green "Play" button on it.
Click on the "Play" button for all five creatures to watch a video about each of them in turn. Mews will appear after you have watched all of the videos. Talk to Mews and select "I'll do it!" from the list of options. Go up the stairs and exit through the door.
Go to the left and click on the double doors to exit the mansion. Go to the right until you see a helicopter. Click on the "Take Off" message on the helicopter to enter it. There will be five destinations listed, one for each of the creatures. Click on any of the destinations to fly to it.
